Jasper Pääkkönen, as the founder of Löyly, wants to revive and spread the sauna culture that thrives in Finland. Now, he is part of the team behind AITO Sauna that is an authentic Finnish home sauna experience. Primarily constructed from spruce-based cross-laminated timber (CLT), AITO is a prefabricated free-standing sauna structure that does not require any foundations or groundworks. Every AITO Sauna is made-to-order to be seamlessly and easily integrated into everyday life.
Glenn Auerbach, who founded saunatimes.com and wrote the book Sauna Build, From Start to Finnish. This American messenger of the Finnish sauna is certainly familiar to some from this year’s World Sauna Forum.
